3-Minute Self-Test: Check if You Might Have Anxiety

Instructions

Anxiety disorder is a common mental health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It goes beyond occasional stress or nervousness; it’s an ongoing feeling of fear, worry, or unease that can disrupt everyday life. Left untreated, anxiety can lead to severe consequences, affecting both physical and emotional well-being.

Five main symptoms of anxiety disorders:

Constant worry or fear – Feeling overwhelmed with anxiety about everyday situations, even when there is no immediate danger.

Restlessness or irritability – A sense of being "on edge" or constantly agitated.

Fatigue – Feeling constantly tired despite getting enough rest.

Difficulty concentrating – Racing thoughts or an inability to focus on tasks due to excessive worry.

Physical symptoms – This may include heart palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, or even stomach problems.

Anxiety disorders can present in many forms, such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder, but all share the common feature of persistent, overwhelming fear or worry.
